Funerals

Catholic funerals may be celebrated during a Funeral Mass or with a Memorial Service, which includes Scripture readings and prayers. The latter may take place at the church or in the funeral home. Cremation is an acceptable practice in the Catholic Church; the Church asks, out of respect for the integrity of the deceased, that the remains be kept intact and not scattered. Cremation may take place after the Funeral Mass or, when necessary, prior to the funeral. The remains may be present during a Funeral Mass or Memorial Service.

Our funeral Masses are typically celebrated at 10:00 am on select days.

The suggested donation is $600.00

Please contact Lisa Fairweather at 725-329-6042 before making arrangements with any of the professional services.

Funeral Announcements

Have you ever noticed a familiar name in the In Remembrance section of our bulletin and felt disheartened by the lack of information regarding the funeral arrangements? We understand how important it is to stay informed during such difficult times, and we are committed to improving this experience for our community. With the family's permission, we will now be publishing upcoming funeral dates and times on the screens before Mass, as well as on this webpage. Please note that the information displayed on the screens will be specific to that week only. Thank you for your support as we strive to keep our community connected during these moments of remembrance.
